New Start

I haven't blogged in quite some time. I have been going through all sorts of changes at work and haven't had the drive to do any blogging or social networking. Today is my last day at work because my contact is finished. My last day was originally going to be Thursday, however I finished EVERYTHING and I'm literally staring at the wall doing nothing.

It will be a new start. I am going to take some time I just go back to casual work at a group home until something new comes up at the office where I can go back too.


Thought I'd give an update, as of tomorrow I will be jobless for a few weeks... blahhh!

What is wrong with me!

For the last few months I have been extremely tired, from the beginning of the day to the end of the day. For the last few days, I've been getting these horrible headaches on my left side of my head. I've never got headaches before and I don't know what is wrong :( I am so tired and no matter how much sleep I get it's a struggle for me to get out of bed in the morning. Work has been extremely busy all week as well which puts more strain on everything :(

Lazy Day

I had the best day ever yesturday! It was so relaxing. '

I went out for lunch for Father's Day at Applebee's. Went to the gym and then spent 7 1/2 hours laying in bed watching Friends. It was awesome! :) and wish it could happen more often!

BFF Becoming Offcal

This weekend she will be doing her wedding planning course and on Sunday she will be offical!!

Vacation

Minneapolis in 3 weeks! It will be a short little vacay, but much needed. Shopping, shopping and more shopping :) and some quality time with the boy which is also much needed since we have complete opposite schedules!

Cannot Concentrate

Today at work it is so hard to focus. I don't know what it is but I cannot seem to be able to wrap my head around working. Is it the weather? Is it because it's Friday? I have no idea, but I'm trying to do anything but my work. I may need to leave early today. I think I may take my lunch at 2pm and then flex the rest of my day. I think that is a fantastic idea!! I haven't left early in a very long time and I feel that I need a break :)

Engagement Dinner

I haven't blogged in quite some time, however am back up and running after my surgery. I was down and out for over a week and it was not fun.

Last night however was a blast! It was Kyle and I's engagement party and it was amazing to see all of our friends together for the celebration. We went to Boston Pizza and had a nice evening out. Tams was creative and bought a picture frame for everyone to sign. It was so nice to see what everyone had written :)

Seeing who comes to your engagement parties and being there for the little things shows you who your real friends are and who you will be able to count on to be there for the big day!

Unfortunately, I went to Walmart after to get pictures develop and they don't have instant printing anymore. What the hell! They only had the one hour printing but I didn't want to wait. Since when does Walmart not have instant printing.. stupid I say!

Surgery

Unfortunately, I have to have another surgery on Friday and I am not looking forward to it. It's a septoplasty open approach. Last year I had the closed approach and it was not fun to recover therefore I am not looking forward to that process of the procedure. Also, I no longer have health coverage so my Tylenol 3 and Antibiotic are going to be so expensive blahh! As of Friday morning I will be out of commission for an entire week and not completely healed up for about 3 weeks after, because my nose will be sensitive to the touch. Blahhh!

Need a Break!

So I haven't blogged in some time. Last week I was swamped with work and when I went home all I wanted to do was sleep. This week is a lot better and has given me more time for my paperwork. I cannot wait until next Tuesday at 12:30pm when I can leave work and go on vacation for 5 days. It'll be a nice break. I'm going to Minneapolis and going shopping, going to see Jersey Boys and a Twins game and then heading south to see some family for Easter. It'll be nice to get away and I haven't taken a vacation with my entire family in a while due to not being able to take too much time off work.

My contract ends on April 29th and I'm pretty stressed out about it because I have absolutely no idea what is going on or if it'll be extended. I wish there was a permanent full time position available that I can apply for. I need benefits and a retirement plan so that I don't have to stress over when another contract will be coming up if another one even comes up. I cannot go back to part time work. :(

I am taking some "me" time this weekend and going to get my hair done :) which will be nice. I need more "me" time and doing things for myself and treating myself to a new outfit or a new pair of shoes.

In a Rut

So lately I feel as though as I am in a rut. I just don't feel like myself. For the last couple of days I just feel sad, especially after I found out my contract got extended until the end of April and then after that I have no idea what is going to happen. I just feel like everything is going wrong at this time. It's been good because I've been able to hang out with my friends a lot which is really helpful. I just wish I could see my fiancee more often :( we only see each other like twice a week if were lucky and it sucks! I need to get out of this rut!

Weekend

I am sooooo happy that it's the weekend :) it is much needed.

Engaged!

I'm so happy, while being on vacation in San Francisco; which was amazing by the way! My boyfriend engaged to me on March 13, 2011 in room 223 of the Castle Inn! It's so weird being engaged, I can't explain it, and it's even weird to say I have a fiance. It was so cute, because he was so nervous that he couldn't even say the speech he wanted to say. He was shaky and got down on one knee. I'm so surprised he kept it a secret because he is the worst secret keeper of life. He always wants to spoil Christmas gifts and Birthday gifts because he's excited about what he bought. I'm happy he kept this a secret though. It was a simple proposal; it wasn't over the top; and the ring is gorgeous :)

It`s so stressful being a girl sometimes... waxing, hair dying, plucking. Always needing to look good! I`d like a guy to be in a girls shoes one day and see what it`s like!

Soooo Excited!

I cannot believe I leave on Saturday already! The time has gone by so fast it`s unbelievable. I booked my trip to San Francisco in September and it`s finally almost here!!! EEEK! I cannot wait to go to Alcatraz and to see the Golden Gate Bridge, and to walk around and site see and to go to an NBA game that my bf really wants to see. It`s all going to be so exciting :)

     

Out with the OLD and in with the NEW

So you know those friends who constantly talk about themselves or will cut you off in the middle of your story to say something about what happened to them. It's so hard to keep a friendship with them, when they call you to vent, yet when you call them they don't have time or they brush your problem off likes it's not a big deal even though it may be a HUGE deal to you. Then they just stop texting and stop calling you for no apparent reason because they're "too busy". Well it takes about 2.5 seconds out of your day to send a text saying, "hey how's it going?"

Well I've decided that I can't keep waiting for the text or phone call. I've decided that it's best for me to cut myself out of the friendship before I get hurt/disappointed anymore.

So out with the old and in with the new :)

First Blog Post

Well this is my first blog post.

I decided to start blogging to get my thoughts out their and to help clear my head a  bit.
A couple of my friends have began blogging and they seem to enjoy it.
